DING SHOU-WEI教授19961999: 任新加坡国立大学分子农业生物学院研究室主任;

200012月至今任加州大学河滨校区植物病理学系教授。他发现了黄瓜花叶病毒编码的RNA沉默抑制子2b,在植物和动物中存在的RNAi介导的免疫反应研究方面做出了杰出贡献,在Science, Nature, Cell等国际学术期刊发表了70余篇高水平论文。
