报告人:Dr Sandeep Singh 报告时间:2017年3月24日,14:00-16:00 报告地点:土化楼5楼会议室 联系人:柳丽君,赵紫华,李志红62733000 报告人简介: Dr Sandeep Singh,Assistant Entomologist,Department of Fruit Science,Punjab Agricultural Univesity (PAU),Ludhiana, Punjab (India)。 E-mail ID: sandeep_pau.1974@pau.edu Cell: +91-9815413046 OBJECTIVE To develop cost-effective and farmer-friendly techniques for management of fruit flies CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS Currently posted in Govt. of India funded project “All India Coordinated Research Project on Fruits” since 2004 wherein working on eco-friendly management of insect-pests of fruit crops (Citrus, grapes, mango, guava, peach, pear, plum, sapota, litchi, papaya and some other fruits); working on fruit flies and traps since 2004 and also did Ph.D. on fruit fly traps; working on modification in PAU fruit fly trap; handling 4 projects on fruit flies and one project on fruit borers. PAU fruit fly trap is based on pheromone technology. More than 15000 traps have been sold to the fruit growers. A large area has been brought under traps through front line demonstrations on peach, pear, guava, Kinnow mandarin, mango and plum. Research is being done on other crops. I have recorded drosophilid, Zaprionicus indicus on various fruit crops in Punjab.
