报告人简介：

James R Carey，加州大学戴维斯分校昆虫学系杰出教授，加州大学伯克利分校衰老学研究中心资深学者。1980年在加州大学伯克利分校获得博士学位，1992年成为加州大学戴维斯分校终身教授，2014年成为杰出教授。2017年在世界昆虫学大会上作Evolutionary Demography Society的主题报告。先后获得AAAS Fellow等称号，并获得NIH/P01重点项目资助（生物寿命进化生态学）。研究方向包括昆虫衰老、生命表、死亡动态、虫口统计学、生物入侵等。在Science, Nature, Annual Review of Entomology, Annual Review of Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics, Aging Cell, Ecology等杂志发表文章200余篇，引用达2万次。
