报告人简介:

Darren Obbard博士期间师从牛津大学的John Pannell教授和Stephen Harris教授,于2004年加入爱丁堡大学,先后获得Chancellor's Fellow, Wellcome Trust Research Career Development Fellow资助,2018年成为爱丁堡大学讲师及副教授。近期主要研究方向包括昆虫中的病毒及其多样性,昆虫RNAi通路的进化以及宿主和病毒的相互作用。近五年在Current biology, PLoS Pathogens, PLoS Genetics, Molecular Biology and Evolution等杂志发表文章21篇,引用达1915次,H指数31
